2011 Motocross Season

Well the 2011 Motocross Season is over and Villopoto won it, and the Supercross.  But in Fantasy-Moto it was Shawn AGAIN.  So, is there anyone out there that can beat him, or maybe better than that, is there anyone that will not quit before it's over.  We now have 4 months to figure it out.  How do we do it? 

We are going to add some rule changes for the next season. 

Picking Season Champion
Picking the overall champ at the beginning of the season will get you 20 points.  At mid season you will be able change your pick.  If you change your pick and he wins the championship then you will get 10 points.  If you keep your original pick then you get an additional 10 points, so a total of 30 points.

Picking Winner of each Race
Each week you will need to pick who you think is going to win the race.  5 points will be awarded.

Rule Change

We are thinking of having players pick who they think will win the series championship and giving them a bonus 20 points if they are right.  Maybe at the middle of the season they can change and get 10 points for picking him.  And if you stay you get 30.  What do you think?

Week 01 HANGTOWN Notes

Well, that was a great Supercross season.  Shawn won both classes.

This outdoors season did not get the turn out that we were hoping.  But, we will have fun and there is a better chance to win.  This is the season to win because you get to keep the trophy for a longer time, until the end of Supercross. 

All the past winners are losing off the start.  It's anyones game.

2011 Motocross Season Starts Saturday

This is the reminder that the Motocross season is coming this Saturday the 21st. It is going to be a good one, with all of the big time names racing this year. You must be signed up and paid by Friday, midnight. It would be wise however to sign up earlier. Rules are above. There are 3 way to do it: PayPal (the easiest), mail (You must email us and let us know that is the way you chose to pay the fee, so we can tell you the address.), or in person. You must send us an email to let us know what leagues you are playing and how you are pay the entrance fee. Have fun and Good luck. Let us know if you have questions or comments.

Shawn lead from the beginning and never looked back.  It took some time for Nichole to settle into 2nd, but after she did, there was noone that was going to compete.  3rd place was what everyone else was trying to get.

Shawn and Nichole were a team that nobody could touch.  Theya are the winners of the first 250's league.  In the Lites there was some flicker of some others who were going to compete, but not for long.  The true question is if they can do it again.  No repeats yet.

Growing Fantasy-Moto BIG

We have been contemplating how to get Fantasy-Moto bigger.  It's up to you.  So, to help you help Fantasy-Moto, we have decided to wave the entry fee to person who brings the most NEW people to sign up.  Make sure to tell the new person to mention your name so you can get credit.  There will be one waived person in each class.  Sign up the same as always, and we will let you know who wins the free season after the first race.  We will then either refund you money after the first couple of races or put it towards the next seasons entry fee.  Which ever the winner desires.  Telly won last season and therefor did not pay for his entry fee. 

Las Vegas Rules for Lites Class

The Lites class this year has changed in Vegas.  We think it has changed for the better.  This year the two Lites classes will each compete in their own 15 lap main event with championship points being awarded to their respective region. Once both champions have been awarded their hardware, the top nine finishers from each region’s main event will transfer to the shootout. 

We will allow you to pick 4 riders from each Coast.  So, a total of 8 riders.  Pick hole shots for each Coast also.  Please send with your pick who you think will win the East/West Shootout.  If you pick the winner of the shootout, 10 points will be awarded.  Please comment on this post with questions or comments.

Week 15 SEATTLE Notes

- People are still moving around and we think there is still chances for everyone.  A bad race by the top players and a good one by a lower scored player can make a difference.  For example a 24 point race by Cody and a 0 by Nate two weeks in a row and Cody could be in 3rd.  That probably will not happen, but you never know.  Last season Telly was in 3rd or 4th and picked a rider who gave him 20 points and he won the whole thing.  For those of you who gave up, it was premature.  You never know.  I think it not up to the lower points to win it, it is up to Shawn and Nichole to lose it.  Like in the real racing, a great night will not win the championship, but a bad night will loose it...

Motocross Coming UP

The motocross outdoor season is starting up soon.  Just two weeks after the Supercross ends.  It will be a great season.  Don't forget to sign up by the 20th of May.  You can do it two ways.  Paypal of send a check.  There will be both leagues, 450's and the 250's.  They are separate league's.  The rules are above.

Week 13 ARLINGTON Notes

- Alessi is doing better with those hole shots.  Good pick Cody.  Is it, that he rides a KTM?  What if he was on a 450?

- We have created a new page at the top, Winners.  Each season we will post the winners there, with picture.

- Steve jumps from 9th to 5th, in the 450's.

- Landon with no picks lost 3rd place in the 250's and went from 4th to 7th in the 450's.

- Cody lost the lead in the 250's with  a -13 and at the same time Shawn and Nichole got 18's and jumped to the lead.

- Alessi got the hole shot.  Nobody saw that coming

- Shawn and Nichole now have the leads in both classes.

Week 10 INDY Notes

- Shawn and Nichole are a duo to be reckoned with.  They can pick them.
- Seems like it is going to be a fight for second in the 450's.  We are not giving it to Shawn yet, but he has been and is solid each week.  Nice job.
- Seely was a good pick this week.  He got 12 points.
- Remember to look at the Players standings to see where everyone is placed.

Week 09 Daytona Notes

-Another crazy race. Bubba is fast, and does not give up!
-Cody still leading the Lites, but barely.
-Telly with no picks in the Lites for 5 weeks and still is in 5th place.
-Landon had a big week with 33 points and jumps from 9th to Tied for 6th.
-It's too bad Paul had no picks, he was on a roll.
